Shangrong Yang 杨尚蓉

I am currently an Assistant Professor at Shanxi University (SXU). Prior to joining SXU, I received my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) in 2018. Afterwards, I completed my Ph.D. degree in MePro at BJTU in 2024, mentored by Prof. Chunyu Lin and Prof. Yao Zhao.

I was born and raised in Guigang, a picturesque city with colorful culture in China.

Research Interests

My research interest lies at the intersection of Computer Vision and Deep Learning. In particular, my work focuses on low-level vision, including: image generation/restoration/enhancement, video processing, fisheye/panoramic distortion rectification, inpainting and outpainting, object detection and tracking, etc. I am also interested in vision transformer and diffsuion model.
